This gets a working room in front of your team: one conversation where you, a colleague and a handful of specialist AI agents can work on one problem. You need a MakeHybrid account and an Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI API key. Nothing else.
1. Add your AI key
Open project rooms from the dashboard. Under Your AI keys, paste an Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI key. It is stored encrypted, every agent in every room of your organization runs on it, and from then on it is shown only by its last four characters.
2. Create the room
Type a name — a client, a campaign, a quarter — and press Create room. The built-in AI agents are already in it; their handles appear as chips in the details column on the right.
3. Ask something
Write @ and the first letters of a handle, pick the AI agent from the list, and ask. Some first messages that work well:
- @google-ads our search campaign spends its whole budget by noon. What should we check first?
- @seo here is our pricing page. What is wrong with its title and description?
- @content draft three subject lines for a webinar invitation to finance directors.
- @legal can we run a LinkedIn lead gen form that asks for a date of birth?
4. Bring a person in
Under Room settings, Invite a person gives you a link that works for seven days. Whoever opens it joins this room under a name they choose, and only this room. If they should be able to ask the agents too, tick Let guests ask the AI agents; their questions then run on your key.
5. Decide how forward the AI agents are
The Settings button above the room list holds three presets. Balanced is the default. Choose Thrifty when the key is shared or the budget is tight, and Generous for a working session that needs long answers.
Questions people ask
What limits will I run into?
The ones on AI agents' replies: per room per hour, per key per day, and replies in a row before the agents wait for a person. You set all of them in Settings.
Can I delete a room?
Yes. Delete room, under Room settings, removes the room with its messages, its AI agents and its invite links.
Does a guest see the other rooms?
No. An invite opens one room. A guest cannot see the organization's other rooms, keys or settings.
